Mumbai Indians (MI) is the most successful IPL team with four IPL wins but their start in the IPL 2020 was not as per their expectations as they lost their first match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) which was the tournament opener as well. Nevertheless, Mumbai Indians bounced back pretty strongly in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and won it by 49 runs. The MI skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front as he scored 80 runs for which he played 54 balls. He was well supported by Suryakumar Yadav who scored 47 runs in 28 deliveries. MI posted a good total of 195 runs on the board but KKR crumbled for just 146 runs after losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. The KKR bowler who seemed to struggle the most was Pat Cummins.
