Former Prime Minister of Bhutan Tshering Togbay schools Indian media for misidentifying the current Prime Minister of Bhutan Dr Lotay Tshering.

Dr Lotay Tshering arrived in India on Thursday to attend the oath swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi along with his new Council of Ministers.

The former PM shared two screenshots where Tshering was wrongly identified and wrote, “India’s media would be up in arms if any other country got the picture of their PM wrong. Yet they continue to embarrass themselves and insult us when it comes to identifying our PM. Bhutan may be small, but she is India’s close neighbour and a very close friend”

Later, the former Prime Minister of Bhutan tweeted a picture of the current Prime Minister of Bhutan Dr Lotay Tshering for ‘the media’s ready reference’.
