Michael Vaughan Got Roasted Like Never Before By Wasim Jaffer & Indians For 4-0 Whitewash Tweet

The Indian cricket team was down and low after the humiliating defeat in the first test match against Australia and almost every Australian cricketing expert was sure that India has no chance in the second test match as Virat Kohli and Mohammad Shami would not be a part of the team. What’s more, Rohit Sharma was also not going to join the squad in the second test match which meant that the Indian batting lineup would be pretty weak against the lethal Aussie bowlers.

However, the Indian cricket team under the captaincy of Ajinkya Rahane turned the tides in their favour and proved everybody wrong by winning the Boxing Day test match. While the skipper Ajinkya Rahane led from the front by scoring a century and he was well supported by Shubman Gill and Ravindra Jadeja, the Indian bowlers were also literally on fire as they wrapped up the Aussies for 195 in the first innings and for 200 in the second innings.

The former English skipper Michael Vaughan was also of the opinion that Australia would clean sweep the series by 4-0 and he posted a tweet on 19th December, the day on which the Indian team lost the first test match after surrendering in the second innings and scoring 36, their lowest total ever in test matches.

This is what Michael Vaughan tweeted, “Told ya … India are going to get hammered in the Test Series … #AUSvIND #4-0”.

The Indians are pretty concerned about their cricket team and they always remember when anybody speaks against India. So it was kind of obvious for Michael Vaughan to be targeted by the Indian Twitterati who roasted him mercilessly.

If this was not enough, former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer also joined and took a satirical jibe at the former English cricketer by posting a meme from web series Sacred Games.

Check out the tweet of Wasim Jaffer:

Now Michael Vaughan has taken a U-turn as in his latest tweet, he has accepted that he was wrong, adding that he likes it when the underdog team proves him wrong.

He tweeted, “Humble pie for Breakfast … !!! Love the under dog proving people wrong … also shows once again if Steve Smith struggles with the Bat this Aussie Batting team is very average … @ajinkyarahane88  captaincy has been magnificent btw … #OnOn #AUSvIND”

In another tweet, he congratulated team India, “Congrats India .. Winning against the odds is always special .. Has to be the best all round performance by a Captain we have witnessed for many many years .. well done @ajinkyarahane88 .. also @RealShubmanGill is going to be a star .. #AUSvIND !”

The third test match will be played at Sydney Cricket Ground starting Jan 7. Which team according to you will win that match to take lead in the series which is leveled at 1-1 as of now? Any guesses?
