Twitter Hilariously Trolls Bollywood Celebs After Maldives Bans Tourists From India Amid COVID

When everyone thought that the coronavirus pandemic will soon get over and things will be back to normal, the second wave of COVID-19 hit the country in a brutal manner and it is affecting people adversely. However, there were some Bollywood celebs who were enjoying vacations in Maldives and they were also sharing their photos on their official Instagram handles which aggravated not only the common public but some other celebs as well. In the recent past, we saw Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Natasha Dalal, Tiget Shroff, Disha Patani, etc. travelling to Maldives for vacations and their colleagues including Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Amit sadh, Shruti Hassan, etc. slammed them for showing their privilege at a time when many Indians are finding it difficult to earn their livelihood.

As the COVID-19 crisis is getting more serious, Maldives has now restricted the entry of Indians with effect from April 27. Their Ministry of Tourism took to Twitter and announced, “With effect from 27 April @HPA_mv suspends tourists travelling from #India to #Maldives from staying at tourist facilities in inhabited islands. We thank you for the support in our endeavour to make tourism safest possible with minimum inconvenience.”

As this tweet got noticed by Twitterati, they took this as an opportunity to troll those Bollywood celebs who had a great time in Maldives recently. Here are some of the selected tweets:
