6 Reality Show Stars Who Faded After Fifteen Minutes Of Fame

Reality shows have a huge fan base because of which we get to see them back on the screens year after year with new seasons but the big question that people want to know is how many winners of these talent reality shows have achieved success after the show got over. There is no denying the fact that every person who participates in these reality shows gets popular but increased fame doesn’t guarantee success in real life and many reality show winners have faded into oblivion soon after winning the show.

Here is a list of few reality show stars about whom we have no idea as to where they are now:

1. Abhijeet Sawant:

Winner of the first season of Indian Idol, Abhijeet Sawant tried his luck in acting and anchoring along with singing but in the present times, not much is known about him. After winning Indian Idol 1, Abhijeet participated in some other reality shows as well such as Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star (first runner up) and Asian Idol (third). His second album Junoon was loved a lot by music lovers but he didn’t achieve much success after that.

2. Qazi Touqeer:

Qazi Touqeer was the winner of singing reality show Fame Gurukul, his first album in which he sang along with Ruprekha Banerjee was a hit among music buffs but he was not seen much after that. However, he was seen on big screen in 2015 in a song Afghan Jalebi of Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer “Phantom” but the movie was a flop on box-office. Interestingly, Arijit Singh also participated in the same show and though he was voted out early yet in the present times, he is one of the most successful playback singers of the industry.

3. Elesh Parujanwala:

In 2009, a Swayamvar was organized on the national television to find groom for the controversy queen Rakhi Sawant. After rejecting 15 contestants, Rakhi chose to get married to a rich NRI Elesh Parujanwala but on the big day, they ended up getting engaged only. Soon after Swayamvar, Rakhi and Elesh participated in one more reality show Pati Patni Aur Woh but Elesh was not seen after that and nothing is known as to where he is and what he is doing now.

4. Ashutosh Kaushik:

Many people felt that Ashutosh Kaushik would make big in the showbiz industry after he emerged as the winner in two big reality shows. First Ashutosh Kaushik won MTV Roadies 5 in 2007and then he won the second season of the most controversial reality show of India – Bigg Boss. Though he was seen in few shows and couple of movies after that but the boy from Saharanpur was not able to make it big and some time back, it was heard that he will be a part of the web series titled Tiwari which starred veteran actress Urmila Matondkar but no authentic information is available regarding this as well.

5. Manveer Gurjar:

The lad from Haryana scripted history as he became the first non-celebrity to win the tenth season of controversial reality show Bigg Boss. He was seen in couple of other reality shows and remained quite active on social media as well for some time but as per recent reports, he has now moved back towards his roots and is busy in his family business.

6. Isha Sharvani:

This girl made everyone go crazy over her dancing skills when she worked in movie “Kisna” (2005) which was directed by Subhash Ghai and starred Vivek Oberoi in male lead. Though the flick was a flop, she got noticed and people loved her for her dancing skills. Isha is daughter of a famous danseuse Daksha Sheth and her father is a musician from Australia. She is a trained dancer who has performed stage shows in many cities of the world. In 2012, Isha Sharvani participated in dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 and was considered as the deserving candidate for winning the show as she made it to the top three but unfortunately, she had to withdraw from the show due to injury. She has featured in some movies but lately, she has been missing from the big screen.
