Babar Azam’s De*th Stare To Journo On His ‘Ye Koi Tareeka Nahi Hai’ Comment Goes Viral
The first test match between Pakistan and New Zealand may have ended in a draw but it will always be remembered for the brilliant knock of 200 played by New Zealand cricketer Kane Williamson and a super century by the Pakistani skipper Babar Azam (161 runs).
The test match was played at National Stadium, Karachi, and the hosts decided to bat first after winning the toss. Pakistan batted well and put up a score of 438 runs on the score board in the first innings but the Kiwis gave a stronger response by 612/9 in their first innings. Babar Azam declared the second innings of his team at 311/8 on the 5th day of the match with just 1 hr game remaining and the Kiwis had the target of 138 runs to chase in 15 overs in order to win the match. Though New Zealand batters started well by scoring runs fast in their second innings, they couldn’t take their team home as the winner because only 7.3 overs were bowled because of poor light and the match ended in a draw.
The Pakistan team is going through a rough phase, it has been whitewashed by the England cricket team by 3-0 recently and prior to that, it lost 3-match test series against Australia by 1-0 which has left many disappointed and annoyed and because of the same, some journalists have also started asking cricketers tough questions.
Babar Azam attended the post-match press conference and though he answered questions of many journalists, he avoided one reporter and as he was getting ready to leave, that journo got irritated and shouted, “Ye koi tareeka nahi hain, yaha sawaal ke lie aapko ishaare kar rahe hain” (This is not the correct way, here I am signaling you repeatedly for question).
As the journalist shouted, Babar Azam gave him a de*th stare as the media manager switched off the microphone.
The incident got captured in the camera and here is the video clip:

There is no denying the fact that Babar Azam wanted to make the journalist realise that he is being avoided intentionally and it seems that it was in response to the incident which happened a little back. The same journalist asked a strong worded question to the Pak spinner Nauman Ali in which he said that the spinner had scored centuries with ball, however Nauman Ali gave a cool and calm response but now there are speculations that it has not gone well with the Pakistani skipper.
The second test match between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played from January 2 at the same venue.
