“Tera Jaddu Phirse Chal Gya,” Fans Hail Ravindra Jadeja For Taking 10 Wickets In BGT 2nd Test

The Indian cricket team has now taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the ongoing 4-match test series which is being played under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 and with this, it has ensured that it will retain the trophy even if the Aussies win the remaining two test matches. However, India needs to win one more test match if it wants to play the finals of the World Test Championship 2021-23 so we are quite sure that it won’t get complacent in the remaining series.

The Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was the Player of the Match in the Nagpur test match as he performed not only with the ball but with the bat as well and in the second test match which was played at Delhi, Jadeja was once again adjudged as the Player of the Match for his superb performance, especially with the bat.

In the second test match, Ravindra Jadeja took 10 wickets in total (3 in the first innings & 7 in the second innings) and though his contribution with the bat wasn’t much, still he made useful 26 runs in the first innings. In the first innings of Australia, it was Mohammed Shami who was the highest wicket taker with 4 wickets but on Day 3, Ravindra Jadeja wreaked havoc on the Aussie batting line-up as he took 7 wickets and gave just 42 runs in 12.1 overs.

The third test match which was earlier scheduled to be played at Dharamsala earlier has now been shifted to Holkar Stadium, Indore, and it will start from 1 March 2023.
