We all know that telling a lie is a bad thing but it is equally true that at some point of our lives we all must have spoken lies. However in this article, we are going to tell you about one incident which will leave you in a shocked state.

Kids often tell lies despite knowing that they are doing the wrong thing especially when they are afraid of getting scolded by their parents and this is what was done by an 8 years old Bengaluru girl which made life of a food delivery guy hell for a short period.

The incident took place on 12 June when a married couple returned home at 9:40 am after dropping their son at school. They were left worried as the house was locked from outside and their 8 years old daughter was missing from the home. The parents contacted the neighbours and soon everybody in the housing complex was searching for the girl. After 30 minutes, the girl was found at the terrace and when she was asked what she was doing on the terrace, she lied that a food delivery came to the house, rang the doorbell and when she opened the door, he dragged her to the terrace and she managed to get rid of him by biting his hand.

All the delivery executives who were in the housing complex at that time were stopped from going out of the complex by the guards and when the 8-yr girl was asked to identify the delivery person, she pointed towards a random person. That poor delivery guy was beaten by the residents, locked in a room despite the fact that he kept pleading them and telling them that he was innocent.

Next day when the police officials checked the CCTV footages, everyone was left shocked as the girl was seen going to the terrace alone and there was no delivery person with her. When the young girl was asked why she lied, she said that she was afraid her parents would scold her for playing at the terrace when she was supposed to study.

The parents of the girl apologized to the delivery person and he stated that he could understand the situation of the parents as he is also the father of a daughter but he is emotionally hurt as nobody listened to him when he was pleading.

The police asked the delivery person to file a complaint against the parents and all those who beaten him up but he refused as he is about to shift to his native place Assam with his family and he would not be able to visit Bengaluru for attending the legal procedures.

After this news went viral on the Internet, Twitterati reacted soon as many were left surprised at the level of the lie spoken by a girl who is just 8 years old. People couldn’t believe how a young girl can cook such a story. Check out some reactions:
