Wife Leaves Husband Because Of 2 Tomatoes Amid Extremely High Prices
The growing inflation is a matter of concern for every Indian citizen especially those who are from weaker sections of the society. The prices of tomatoes have crossed all the limits as they are getting sold at the price of Rs. 200 per kg or more and it has become impossible for the majority of the Indians to consume tomatoes.
Though tomato is not a main ingredient of Indian curries, still it gives a tangy flavour to food items which is loved by the Indians. The government has started selling tomatoes at the price of Rs. 80 per kg in some cities but as per some reports, the prices of tomatoes can touch the mark of Rs. 300 per kg in the near future.
Recently, the use of extra tomatoes while making a curry resulted in the separation of a couple and then the police had to intervene in the matter.
As per reports, the couple belongs to Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, and they manage a roadside eatery (dhaba) together. The name of the husband is Sanjeev Verma and the name of the wife is Aarti. The wife saw that her hubby used two tomatoes more than what was required to make a curry and she got angry. They got into an argument and things turned so ugly that Aarti decided to leave the house with their daughter.
When the husband was not able to do anything, he went to the police and asked them to help him. Aarti was found at the house of her sister who lives in a town near Shahdol and police tried their best to solve their issues.
Though it is still not known whether Aarti has returned home or not but Sanjeev has promised the police that he won’t be using tomatoes in any dish until and unless the prices of tomatoes get back to normal.
We really hope that Aarti forgives Sanjeev and comes back home and hopefully, prices of tomatoes will also come down soon so that no other couple has a fight over tomatoes.
