The former Indian skipper Virat Kohli himself informed his fans about this good news with a joint post on his Instagram account which read, “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika’s little brother into this world! We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love & Gratitude, Virat & Anushka”

There were strong rumours regarding Anushka’s pregnancy for quite some time but the couple and their closed ones kept mum in this regard. However, these rumours gained strength when the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that Virat Kohli has pulled out from the first two test matches of the India-England series due to personal reasons.

Later on, Virat Kohli made it clear that he is not going to be a part of the team which will play the remaining three test matches as well and this was more than enough for fans to believe that Anushka will be delivering their second baby soon.

However, things got pretty clear when AB de Villiers, the former South African cricketer and a close friend of Virat Kohli, supported the Indian cricketer for not playing the series and being with his family as his family needs him. Not just this, in his YouTube video, he also confirmed that Virat and Anushka’s second baby is on the way.

However, just a day after spilling the beans, AB de Villiers retracted from his statement and said that nobody knows what is going on in Virat’s life and everyone should respect the decision of Virat Kohli to give priority to his family. Moreover, he also apologised to the Kohli family for making a big mistake on his previous show.
